Born 1942 in Val d’Or, Quebec Canada, I always saw the world with one eye, having the left optic nerve damaged at birth.

Essentially a self-taught artist, I have always loved drawing. In my thirties, I had drawing lessons from Mr. Carlo Caramelli, artist and teacher. Many years later, I took a few art classes for adults from the University of Montreal.  I have been influenced by the works of our Canadian realist painters such as Alex Colville, Christopher Pratt, Mary Pratt, Ken Danby and by other great painters like Salvador Daly, John Singer Sargent, Vilhelm Hammershoi, Andrew Wyeth among many others.

I have participated in a few group exhibitions organized by the City of Brossard.  The exhibitions took place at the Town Hall in 1993 and at the Visual Art shows of 1997, 1998, 1999 and 2005.

Over the years, I developed a true passion for drawings.  It is with pleasure that I share here with you my personal creations.
